Armored cars are a guarantee of saving the lives of many people. Of course, such autos are not necessary for every person. But politicians, celebrities, diplomats and people who understand that their safety may be at risk, often apply for armored cars.

Making an armored car out of an ordinary car is not just about covering it with protective film. Armor is the creation of a protective capsule that does not affect the look of the car. When creating the armor, the car is completely disassembled, the trim is removed, leaving only the body. Once completed, the armored car is protected from bullets. While the protective film only protects against road stones and tree branches.

Levels of ballistic protection

TG Lab company creates armored cars from any car brands: Lexus, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet and others. In our work we are based on international standards and requirements. We work with civilian cars.

Armor in civilian cars has a gradation depending on the degree of protection: B1-B7 and B12. We offer protection levels B6 and B7. Because B1 is the manufacturer’s protection. B12 is the ultra level of protection, which saves even combat vehicles in wartime from grenade and mine explosions.

Armor class B6 protects the life of passengers from 3 times in one point from an AK-47 with a caliber of 7.62 from a distance of 10 meters. B7 also protects against fragmentation grenade explosion and a hit from a 7.62 caliber rifle with a heat-strengthened core.

How does the armor process work?

The process takes up to a month. We inspect the car beforehand to assess the scope of work and determine the cost.

Then we get to work:
1. Disassembly of the interior.
2. Building a homogeneous metal capsule inside the auto.
3. Welding the seams.
4. Priming.
5. Booking of doors.
6. Installation of armored glass.
7. Replacing the suspension of the car.
8. Replacement of the braking system with a special reinforced one.
9. Installation of RunFlat system on the wheels.
10. Assembling the interior in reverse order.

An important stage after booking is testing the car and testing the armor. We carry out these works in several stages.
